Dados generala

Dados Generala is the digital version of Generala, a classic dice game rooted in the same family as Yahtzee that has been a staple of board game nights across Latin America for generations. The rules are simple, the decisions are deceptively complex, and thirteen rounds are all it takes to separate a sharp strategy from a lucky streak.

How the Game Works

Each turn, you roll five dice and can re-roll any of them up to twice. Your goal is to achieve specific combinations — pairs, three of a kind, four of a kind, full house, straights, and the coveted Generala (five of the same). After your rolls, you assign the result to one of thirteen scoring categories; each category can only be used once per game. The tension comes from deciding which category to sacrifice with a bad roll and which to save for a better opportunity.

Strategy and Decisions

The elegance of Generala lies in this constant trade-off. Early in the game, you might lock in easy low-value categories to bank safe points. Later, pressure mounts as remaining categories become harder to fill with diminishing dice options. Getting a Generala — five matching dice — in the first roll awards bonus points and is one of the most satisfying moments in any dice game.

A Timeless Classic, Now Digital

This classic browser game version handles all the dice rolling and scoring automatically, so you can focus entirely on the strategic decisions. It's ideal for players who want to practice Generala solo, understand the scoring system, or simply enjoy a few rounds on a break. Mouse control handles everything.
