To play
A blank letter board, a spinning wheel, and one hidden phrase to uncover. La ruleta de la suerte is a browser word puzzle game inspired by the classic Wheel of Fortune television format — free to play, no download needed, fully compatible with desktop and mobile. The challenge is to reveal the hidden phrase before your luck runs out.
The mechanics: spinning, guessing, solving
Each round presents a hidden phrase represented by blank tiles. Spin the wheel by clicking to earn points, then guess a consonant. If that letter appears in the phrase, it's revealed and you score the wheel amount. Vowels are purchased for a fixed cost rather than spun for. The tension lives in the BANKRUPT sector: land on it and your accumulated round score resets to zero.
The skill comes from knowing when to guess the full phrase rather than spinning again for more letters. The game is entirely mouse-driven: click to spin, click to select letters.
When to solve rather than keep spinning
The most common mistake in La ruleta de la suerte is over-spinning. Once you have enough letters to make a confident guess, solving immediately is almost always the right call. Spinning for extra points risks BANKRUPT and the loss of everything accumulated. The win condition is solving the phrase correctly — not maximizing points per turn.
How do you play La ruleta de la suerte?
Spin the wheel to earn points, then guess a consonant. If the letter is in the hidden phrase, it's revealed and you score the wheel amount. Buy vowels for a fixed cost. Solve the complete phrase before your turns run out to win. Landing on BANKRUPT resets your round score to zero.
