Luigi mansion

Luigi Mansion puts the famously timid green plumber in the starring role — and in the worst possible situation for a man who hates ghosts: alone in a haunted mansion, armed with nothing but a flashlight and a vacuum cleaner. This browser adaptation captures the spirit of Luigi's solo adventure, dropping you into a spooky estate filled with ghosts to capture, secrets to find, and more rooms than any self-respecting coward would want to explore.

Ghosts, Gadgets, and Gloomy Corridors

Each room of the mansion holds its own challenge. Some ghosts patrol openly and must be defeated by stunning them with your flashlight before vacuuming them up. Others hide until disturbed, or ambush you from behind picture frames and curtains. Learning each ghost's behavior is as important as your reflexes — rushing in without a plan is a fast way back to the start of the level.

The mansion's layout rewards exploration. Locked doors hide keys tucked behind defeated ghosts or secret switches. Treasure chests contain coins and gems that count toward your final score. Each new area reveals a fresh set of puzzles and enemies, making the gradual uncovering of the mansion's floor plan feel like its own kind of adventure.

Controls

Move Luigi through the mansion with the arrow keys — left, right to walk, up to interact with doors and objects. Use the spacebar to activate the vacuum when facing a ghost after stunning it with your flashlight. The control scheme is simple enough to pick up immediately, but the timing required to stun and capture ghosts efficiently adds a skill ceiling that veteran players can work toward.

The Charm of Playing as Luigi

Luigi's cowardly charm is the game's secret weapon. Every stumble, every startled animation, every nervous step into a darkened corridor sells the character's reluctant bravery. He doesn't want to be here — but he's going anyway, for his brother. That emotional core, even in a browser adaptation, gives the game a personality that goes beyond standard platformer fare.

If you love spooky adventure games or have a soft spot for Luigi as a character, Luigi Mansion is a must-play. Steeling your nerves, learning the mansion's secrets, and finally making it through every haunted room is a satisfying achievement worth pursuing. The mansion waits — and so do the ghosts.
